How to get a text response as note in a next question

Is there anyway I can have a text response display as a note in a next related question. I really appreciate your help.

@policyresearch you could use ${name_of_variable} to get the text in a note.
For example

text	name            Enter the name:
note notename     This is the name you entered before: ${name}
