How to separate surname from the name of the respondent?

Hello everyone!
I just want to separate the surname from the respondent’s name. Such as,

  1. first respondent name=Purna Kumar Bhatta
    here, first name=Purna, Middle name=Kumar, Surname=Bhatt
  2. second respondent name=Dolma Lama
    here, first name=Dolma, surname=Lama.
    Now, I want to record surnames i.e Bhatt, Lama in the next field.

How about getting their names, middle names and surnames in different questions?

As far as I know, there is no simple way of selecting last word and using it.
