How to sum inside repeated group for a multi select questions

Hi everyone.

I have a multi select questions with options such as ECCDE, PRIMARY, JSS, etc and a repeated group with multi select questions (age3-4, age5, age6 age7_above) and repeat group that track the num_male, num_female for each age group.

Am required to sum male and female for each age group for each of the class.

This is to enable me to validate entry in another field so that the total for (say) ECCDE is not avariance with total ECCDE of another question with a different requirements.
