How can I wrap long text when typing on android phone?

@langsonb, could you show us a sample of what you are trying to refer to with wrap long text. Maybe a sample screenshot of the same would make the issue clear pictorially?

Hi,

Kindly see the screen shot. I used text data type in xlsform and when
I open the app using ODK the screen just show one line and I need to
type more than 255 characters of explanation. The problem I am having
is there is NO WRAPPING on the screen. Typing is continuous and the
user loses focus of the question.

So help me, if possible, on how I can wrap long text on the
smart-phone. Or how I can increase number of rows for the text.
