Hyperlinks in questions

How can hyperlinks be inserted into questions?

Thanks.

Hi @cokoro,

As seen in the help article:

a link can be added by using [a link](https://www.kobotoolbox.org)

I’m afraid this is not quite clear. I have just typed the indicated text out, saved and viewed, and it hasn’t worked. Is that what is needed?

Thanks.

Hi @cokoro,

You need to put your text in brackets [ ] and your link in parentheses ( ) in the question label

[YOUR TEXT IN HERE](YOUR LINK IN HERE)

It should look like this in editor:
link-1

And like this in deployed form or in preview mode:
link-2

Hope it makes it more clear.
If you need further help, don’t hesitate to ask.

Hi,

Many thanks, I think we are getting there.

Here’s my version of my question (which requests an upload from a form that can be downloaded from the link I’m looking to insert):

Submit a signed and completed the form which you can download from websitename

How can I insert the link that allows the respondents go to the webpage when wesitename is clicked,

Many thanks.

Hi @cokoro,

Submit a signed and completed the form which you can download from [websitename](THE URL OF THE WEBSITE)

Just change the THE URL OF THE WEBSITE to the proper link. And it should work.

Thanks a lot, this has been resolved. Had to ensure there were no spaces between the parentheses [] and ()
