I cannot select the options to a question

I have this code choice filter, not(selected(${B2.7},name)) and name !=${B2.7.1} which shows exactly what I want of eliminating answers from B2.7 in B2.7.1. Except I cannot select any of the options in B2.7.1

Can you share the related extract of your form, please, incl. the (some) choices?
The choice_filter is with question 2.7.1?
Then name = … would reference itself, creating a circle reference…
Did you check your form with the online validator?

Yes I checked with the online validator. No error shown. This is the extraxt of the form
