i have just one form that contain two questions
the first one is the name of person
and the second i select one question that its choices will be the name of persons so after each submission i want to this select one question be updated to get the new name
@mediaan, this workaround should help you design your form as needed:
@Kal_Lam i need from the old submission not from the current questions
what i mean that i need to fetch the previous values of the text question supposed it called name of person and populated it as choices of select one question

i saw it in kobo collect app but i did not now how it is designed because i do not know the person who did this form

because i will avoid to make mistake when we want to collect the same name of person again
cause it will be in the select one so i will just select it
