It is recommended that the system include metadata fields such as “edited by” and “editing date” for each submission. At a minimum, the “edited by” field should be accessible and usable within form logic or external systems to support better access control. Additionally, it would greatly enhance functionality if the read_only property could be made dynamic — allowing it to be controlled at runtime using conditional logic or calculations. This flexibility would enable more secure and context-sensitive data collection workflows, particularly for multi-user or staged data entry processes.
