Is it possible to change label values(xml values) for existing data?

Hello Kobo team,
My team realized we didn’t assign numeric xml values for some multiple choice responses in our form. The data collection is now finalized. Is there anyway that we can correct the xml values(label values) for the existing data? Would modifying the xls form help to download the data in the new form with new xml values?

Hi @bizaheran, unfortunately you will have to take care of this outside of the Kobo UI in data cleaning. A new xlsform version will not change data submitted to a previous version.
