@omarwork2611 the GPS sensor on your phone should not require an internet connection and should produce a position accurate to under 50m when used outside. KoBo Collect requires permission to access location when app is in use and Location should be turned on in your settings panel (sometimes an arrowhead symbol).
GPS establishes your position on the surface of the earth by interpreting time pings from a number of satellites in stationary orbit (your phone calculates the time taken for the ping to travel from each satellite’s known position to your device). Hence, it works offline but should ideally have a wide view of the sky.
