Is it possible to upload xls dataset into KoBoToolbox server?

We have a number of people who entered response data into an excel spreadsheet, with the exact fields as the data download. Is there a way to upload data (200 records) via an xls upload? I know how to upload xls to design a form, but don’t see a way to upload data.

Welcome to the community! Unfortunately, KoBoToolbox does not support uploading xls dataset from Excel version to KoBoToolbox.

If there is no way to upload bulk data, Is there a way to merge data from two forms within Kobo so that we have a single data download from entry in the two forms?

Hi @babasz,

Unfortunately, KoBoToolbox does not provide that feature too (i.e. merging the data from 2 different projects). You will need to use some third party applications (software) to merge the data after extracting the same (maybe MS Excel, SPSS, stata etc.).

However, if you wish a single dataset from a single survey project you could conduct the survey where multiples enumerators collects data for the same project and then submit the same to the server.
