Is there a way to restore an earlier version of a form?

Hello Kobo team,

Is it possible to restore an earlier version of a form? I accidentally replaced a form with the wrong XLS form, and was wondering if I could restore it. The previous version was deployed and the new form (the wrong replacement) is not deployed.

Welcome @hbiza,
You can

  • reimport the previous version (if you still have it) and deploy afterwards
  • see the history part in the form section for your project in KoboToolbox, create a clone of the previous version, download it and re-import it on the original project and then deploy it.

Don’t forget to always check your form with online validator before deployment (even before upload).

The history part worked, was able to create a clone of the previous version.
