Hello,
I’d like some help with finishing creating a repeat group with iteration while also excluding a subset of responses. I am asking about income-generating activities with a select_multiple question, with many options, however the tricky ones are: Refuse, No income, Don’t know, and Other, specify. The next question asks “On average, how much income do you earn from [job] in a week?” I want to exclude the previously mentioned tricky responses, but I also would like to somehow include the participant’s response to the “Other” option.
Here is what I have so far:
I looked at some other community responses, but I am struggling still.
Thanks for your help
Welcome to the community, @juliabeverley! Did you mean you wish to drop some of the choices from the question options?
No not fully drop, I wish to iterate over the question options to ask a follow-up question that inserts the option name in the question, and also omit 3 options from being included in the follow-up question.
Yes that is great! Do you think you could add 3 questions after that that asks how much they make for each response given? like in this format: On average, how much income do you earn from [primary/secondary/tertiaryoccupation] in a week?
Also, let’s say they select the “Other” option, is there a way to input what they type in into the question? So if they typed “business income”, how do you make the next question ask: On average, how much income do you earn from business income in a week?
Thank you!!
See attached form ; let me know if it works as per your needs, All the best
