Mapbox source Not visible in android device

I have been trying to configure .mbtile for mobile kobo mobile application.
I have gone through the following documention
Using Offline Maps - ODK Docs (getodk.org)

but in the Project Settings > Maps> Source, there is no option of Mapbox.
Is it necessary to have it there to display mbtiles?
I have already placed the mbtile in the layers directory
‘Android\data\org.koboc.collect.android\files\projects\e1a98426-a76d-4c94-bc94-025d5d2d012c\layers\unitLocation.mbtiles’

Please guide further on how to display this or how to set the mapbox option.

Try configuring your Collect android app as follows and you should be able to view the MBTILES File as layers while collecting data with Collect android app. Step 1: Copying MBTILES File to your device. thank you for your response.
I have configured the mbtiles as mentioned in your above response.
But the issue is I don’t have any option of Mapbox in the source.

Please guide on that.

Secondly, I don’t have the layers directory already created.

I have placed the mbtiles at the following path
‘Android\data\org.koboc.collect.android\files\projects\e1a98426-a76d-4c94-bc94-025d5d2d012c\layers’
