I have two questions regarding geopoint questions in enketo web forms:
Is it possible to set a default zoom level for a geopoint question so that when someone opens the form, it is already zoomed into a predefined area?
The search function for the geopoint question does not work for me. If I type anything in the search bar, nothing happens at all. Is there any way to make it work?

As a workaround you might pre-set a GPS location value (by calculation or default) in the area where you want to zoom in.

Regarding point 2. I found this post that solved that issue.

It’s in a file called config.json. Edit it on your Docker host, not inside the Enketo container, to make your changes persist. I’m not sure how you have your volumes mapped, but a command like
$ docker inspect kobodocker_enketo_express_1 | grep 'Source.*config.json'
should return the answer, e.g.
"Source": "/mnt/data/kobo/kobo-deployments/enketo_express/config.json",
