Missed my Data when trying to repplace the form

Hello, I was trying to insert calculating field to my kobo form and it didn’t workout. But after creating that variable the kobo created another column with the same name and start storing the data afterwards in the new column. So i couldn’t get the newly added data in the linked powerBI dashboard. When I try to replace the whole form, it changes the existing form. I can see there are still the number of data but the headers are completely different. How can I revert back to the original form still keeping the data collected. Need help ASAP.

Thank You @wroos for showing the way of solution of one of the issues, which was most important and thank you @Kal_Lam for your feedback on kobo internal limitations. I marged both of the columns in Power BI data transformation, I somehow found the way to create the final Dashboard.

Missing data in Power BI from Kobo database

Hi! I was able to find a solution through the following way: Creating a new data connection to the form; Importing the missing columns to my original dataset using “vlookup”, so that I could use the steps already applied in Power Query while processing data. Cheers!
