We are excited to announce some new features that have been released recently.
Audio recording in Web Forms
Web forms now match the audio recording capabilities of KoboCollect. This means that:

A new widget UI with recording and playback capabilities is available, allowing respondents to answer audio questions by recording audio in the browser, instead of uploading a file.

The background audio recording functionality is now supported in both Collect and Web Forms.

As part of this release, we have also included a series of improvements and fixes to Web Forms. For a complete list of the updates, please see the release notes.
New API Documentation
To better support power users, we have invested in creating an extended new public API documentation, which can be accessed via /api/v2/docs/.
This new page includes fine-grained documentation of all endpoints as well as an integrated way for authenticating and testing each endpoint, depending on your permissions.
