Offline Access to Questionnaire Through Link/QR Code

Dear all,

We are a humanitarian organisation, working in an environment where there is 0 access to internet. Nevertheless, we would like to give people the possibility to give feedback on our services, ideally through the possibility of scanning a QR code or copying the link to the questionnaire and completing it on their own devices.

However, if I understand correctly, this would not be possible if there is no access to internet at all, right? They could only do that after having opened it before when they were online? (which is not possible)

Thanks a lot for your help!

Welcome to the community, @dck! Kindly please be informed that an enumerator can collect as much data as possible in an offline mode with both the webforms as well as the Collect Android App. But at the same time please also be informed that an enumerator will need an internet connection for a minimum of two times during the entire data collection process. The first phase is when configuring the Collect Android App if the enumerator is planning to collect data with an Android app or to load the form if the enumerator is planning to collect data with the webform. The other point an enumerator would require is when submitting the data from the app/webform to the server.

You should be able to learn more about data collection in KoboToolbox through these support articles:

Thank you so much for your quick response!

We were thinking to not use an enumerator but to give people the possibility to give us feedback anonymously with their own devices over the web form. So I imagine that the only other option would be to prepare a device that people can use to give feedback.

Thanks again
