Hi @dawazangpo and welcome back to the community!
It works on my side as intended. Can you share a screenshot of the problem?
if it works fine in same browser - kindly use incognito of chrome and it doesn’t at times.
That’s interesting behaviour, I wonder if it is somehow related with the incognito status of the browser so it doesn’t trigger properly. I believe someone from community could answer this.
Not oly cognito but when new browser use that form, it doesn’t work
@dawazangpo, try using the now()
function with the dateTime
question type and it should work.

Dear @Kal_Lam ,
Thank you for your prompt response. However, I’d like to clarify that I prefer not to include the date for this particular variable. Adding the date increases the complexity of extracting only the time during data analysis. Additionally, I’ve set this field as mandatory and read-only to prevent enumerators from editing the time.
Unfortunately, I’ve encountered issues with the system’s time synchronization or accurate capture when using the time question type. Despite trying various approaches, such as using the now() function in both the calculate and default columns, and testing the Enketo web form on different laptops, the results have been inconsistent. Sometimes the time is displayed correctly, while at other times the time doesn’t even shows up like in the above screenshot.
I appreciate any further assistance or insights you can provide on resolving this issue.
Thank you
