Read only date data type

I am using “date” data type. when I previewed the form, I saw date type questions are in read only format without actually using read only option. Following are the two screenshots:

To check the problem, I used date and time format, which is working well. However, I am unable to figure out why when I use date data type, I am unable to enter anything date as input. Please help @Kal_Lam

@apulikkal, I checked this out at my end in both the humanitarian and the non-humanitarian servers but did not have any issues.

Maybe the best way to troubleshoot your issue is to download your project as XLSForm and see if the read_only column for those questions has been set to TRUE. If it has been set to TRUE, you could change it to FALSE.
