Reset response given in text box after changing the option from Yes to No

Hi,

I am trying to reset the text box in the question basing on previous questions select one option, For Example, I have given the Category of Food in to Non Veg and basing on the selection non veg another question appears and asks to enter or select dishes in non veg section. But, when i changed my selection from non veg to veg and coming back to non veg, the response already selected or typed is still there. I want to clear the previous information given or selected. How to do it in here. I hope i have explained in a proper way. Thank You

As far as I know, this is the normal behaviour. Non-relevant items are only cleared on save.
You would need a trigger and calculation, see XLSForm Docs,
