Saved data (draft) send to another form (initial form deleted)

So, we have Form A and an enumerator already take data but only saved in their phone (draft). We thought there’s no more data need to be collected and delete (permanent) the form. The form don’t have any data when we delete the form.

We need the data from the enumerator but it failed to send because the form is already deleted. Is there any way to send the data to Kobo? we tried to make new form (Form B) with similar xlsx and name but still failed.

Welcome to the community, @Madsol! I haven’t tried it personally, but it should work. Could you try out the following steps outlined below?

  • Since you deleted the project from the server, deploy the same (XLSForm) as a fresh new survey project.
  • Open your submission as a notepad and make necessary updates (like changing the asset id) as required.
  • Then try to upload your data manually, as outlined in the support article Manually Uploading Submissions.
