Kobo does not currently offer a function to save forms online during filling in. the save as draft function that is available with online-offline forms, is not fully functional, as it depends on browser settings. Leading to many lost forms on our clients sides. This leads to frustration and unhappy clients. Could you add online saving as a functionality? or are there other ways to solve this problem?
Welcome back to the community, @Eline! Could you kindly elaborate on this so that we can understand it and make any necessary updates? Please also share the screenshots you’d like to highlight, as they will help us better understand your requirement.
What exactly is unclear about my request? I want to know how a respondent can easily save a form during filling in so they can resume later with filling in the form. We now often have lost forms with the safe as draft option that is currently available.
@Eline, when you save your submissions as drafts, they are stored locally in your browser. As long as your submission remains in the browser, you should avoid clearing your browser’s cache. Doing so will permanently delete all locally stored data.
@Kal_Lam I am aware of this, but as we instruct >1000 people, that are not really skilled on a computer, to fill in this form, we have failed to explain them how to avoid this, as this usually involves changing browser settings (cookies). Are there other ways to save a form?
