Hi, I am currently trying to plot a geopoint question on the map. However, the problem is that we also collect the start-geopoint and that too gets plotted on the map. Is there a way to change the settings such that only our geopoint question is plotted on the map?
Is the map you are referring to here the one shown in the KoboCollect app? Or Enketo? Or that map shown in KoboToolbox with all the geo-located submissions?
If the latter is showing the start-geopoint location as well, then perhaps try setting that question’s relevant=false. This should still trigger an initial form start-geopoint (to ‘warm up’ the GPS…) but because it’s relevant-false it mean’s the actual stored geopoint value will be blanked out upon submission, hopefully preventing anything extraneous locations showing on your Kobo map.
