Setup smtp on local kobo server

Hi My friend
my name is Arash Nazari
I’m head of IT department Of Nikan Hospital in Iran - Tehran
I have installed Kobocollect locally for some of departement for gathering data.
My issue is access to main database that i think be PostgreSQL, i need it for setup smtp server and user management , for example active users
please help me or send me a link for info about it.
my second issue is error 502 that Occurs some time .please help me about it.i don’t have much information about python and Ubuntu .

I was able to fix the error: 1: Bought private email from Namecheap 2: My Domain name Nameservers were pointing to Digital Ocean 3: I set the MX, CNAME, TXT and SRV from namecheap private email to Digital Ocean since I linked my domain to the droplet. 4: On Kobotoolbox account I made sure super admin email is the email I had purchased. Which way do you suggest?

If you execute run.py --setup it will ask you for your SMTP details. The other way is to edit the environment files, but the first way is quite easy.
