Please I need help

Welcome to the community, @lookshines! Could you also share with the community a screenshot of the error message you get when trying to submit your submission to the server? That should help the community to understand your issue pictorially.

@lookshines, would you mind checking if the project has access to submit data to the server and also if the project is still active on the server?

The project is active. How do I check if it has access to submitting data to the server

@lookshines, you will need to check this with the admin who shared the project with you.

I am the admin. I created the form. I have done this many times. I don’t know where the error is coming from.

@lookshines, check this Allow submissions to this form without a username and password under the FORM tab as shown in the image below and that should solve your issue:

It has always been selected

a9dG5FV4L3Pba5cvD882Fn.xlsx (35.4 KB)
This is the XLS form

@lookshines, as to troubleshoot your issue, could you kindly upload that same XLSForm as a new project to see if you can make submissions to that project?

No, I still can’t

When I try to edit the form in the form builder, I get this error. I have tested the form on the validator and it is work fine

Please I am having the same issue. Has anyone resolve this. I need to do the survey in the next 3 hours

@lookshine, how did you resolve this issue.

Yes, it was a particular question causing the issue. The error does not appear with any validator because it is not exactly an error.

This is what I believe to be the cause: I used the word “model” as my question name and as the list_name in the choice sheet.

“Model” is a keyword in Python, and since Kobo is built with Django, which is a Python framework, it likely caused the error when attempting to submit the form.

To resolve the issue, I replaced the word “model” in the form.

Welcome to the community, @sarman_traning1! But please also feel free to validate your XLSForm through this online validator. The online validator should help you identify syntax issues if any present within your XLSForm that is causing this issue.

The online validator shows that everything was fine
