Dear Community,
In my kobo collect ap, after filling 2-3 responses while sending the responses, it shows There was a crash last time the app was running. I want to know where I have made mistake while preparing the form.
I have added geopoint in my form to collect location as well.
Welcome to the community, @divyabaswani! You should always be able to identify sytanx issues by validating your XLSForm though this online validator.
Hey, I know this thing and there is no problem showing in this online validator. I also got 500 responses via this form only. But in 2-3 android phone crash msg is coming.
I am unable to upload my crash screenshot and my form here.

Dear @Kal_Lam, now we are getting this error very often and in almost all mobile devices. We have checked the online validator, updated the versions, checked forms and no errrors in any place. Why ths is happening with particular form? I am attaching the form for your testing. One sccreenshot is attached here
@divyabaswani, how many questions does your survey form have? I assume it has a lot of them.
@Kal_Lam 178 Questions My survey has.
I am unable to upload my form here to check with you.
Please provide me the solutions. almost 30 people from my team is complaining about the same.
@Kal_Lam I got 15000 responses with the same form. but the same problem is faced by my team.
I need to collect 70,000 responses
@seedsalp Please submit the form here
The form is here @Kal_Lam and @divyabaswani . Also, a new error occurred, a screen shot of which is uploaded. Help needed. Thanks
Farmer Field Book Kobo.xlsx (88.9 KB)
Can you also plese post the external dataset files this form requires, eg code.csv, farmename.csv, land.csv…
I also see that you’ve made most/all your groups and repeats field-lists. It would be interesting to see if switching them all back to regular groups reduces the memory footprint when running this form… [I know a field-list is probably the preferable UI, but it may result in a greater runtime memory footprint, which appears to be what you are hitting].
Regarding the screenshot with the new errors - is this from a KoboCollect screen (eg after trying to submit a bunch of finalized forms?) or somethng else? FWIW this would appear to be a network connectivity error.
