Hello all,
I am new to KoBo - trying the switch from ODK Aggregate/Collect. I have created a XLS form (that works fine on ODK Collect), uploaded it to KoBo server without problem but unable to view it or deploy it.
When deploying, I get the Server Error 500.
When trying to view, it gets stuck on the loading screen, with the message “sequence item 1: expected string or Unicode, NoneType found” at the bottom of the screen.
Can you please help to solve this issue/know where it comes from?

Hi @effy1988,
Welcome to the community! Looking at your xlsform, i saw that you had only one language in your survey form and had labelled them with ::Francais as shown in the image below.
In KoBoToolbox, you do not have to use ::Francais if you have only one language in your survey form. However this is compulsory if you have more than one language.
