Updating users of redeployed form

Good afternoon, I’m currently figuring out how to use KoBoToolbox, but I have noticed that once a user downloads a form. if that form is later updated, the user is not notified of this update and any answers under the old form are lost.

Is there a way to inform any users on a given form that they need to re download an updated form?

Welcome to the community, @shannonmc! Yes, you got it correct. The system does not notify the users about the updated survey form. You could, however, overcome this with the following workarounds:

• The first could be that you inform your team (both supervisors and enumerators) about the update.
• If your team is using Collect android app to collect data, they could configure the app as outlined in the support article:
