Hi members,

I need your help.

When setting up a KoBo account, one is supposed to set a username and password.

When the form is deployed, users can access the form on KoBo Collect. But to do this, they must use the login details which are exactly ‘the username and password’ of the host.

I just want to find out, is it possible to set a different password for KoBo Collect (apart from the one used on the server)?

I feel there is a risk that someone might login into the account, and even delete the data, since the same credentials are used on both the server and KoBo Collect.

@Fakhr, you could treat your current KoboToolbox account as the admin account (from where you deployed your project) and have additional accounts as enumerators. You could share your project from the admin account to the enumerators account by restricting certain permissions that keep your data safe as outlined in this support article: Sharing Your Project and Managing Permissions Row-Level Permissions
