Can i use begin_kobomatrix to reference responses from a previous select_multiple question?
Let’s say the list has 20 tems but i need the matrix only for the ones the respondent selects in a previous question.
Ive been looking at using calculate type and then calling it in the choices sheet as was done in the more “manual” method of creating a matrix in the forum. But using begin_kobomatrix is so much cleaner and easier when you have a long list of choices!
Nothing has worked so far and have spent a week searching forums, videos, documentation, testing.

@kt2630, the begin_kobomatrix is definitely an easy option to create a matrix question but at the same time it also is limited with many features. I would thus recommend you use the other version to create and modify the matrix question as needed. These support articles should help you achieve the same:
