500 error when downloading by batch using API

In my application, the following API used to work:
https://kc.kobotoolbox.org/api/v1/data/[asset_identifier]?format=json&sort={\"_id\":1}&start=85613&limit=2000

Now, i get a server 500 error

May I know what is the equivalent syntax if i use v2 api?

@raffy_m the system now allows you to download your data by filtering it by date (from the UI), as explained in this support article: Advanced options for exporting data.
