Access to survey form

KoboToolbox Team,

We are experiencing an issue with one of our users.

The user has been granted access to the project and can log in successfully. However, when they try to open the survey, they receive the following error:

“This form does not exist or you no longer have access to it. Please check the URL for any missing characters.”

The full error message also includes:
“Attempted to access form with ID: aY8BwaVRn9S8wCbYXpr7AW”

We have already confirmed that the user has access to the project, so we are unsure why this error is appearing.

Could you please advise what might be causing this issue and how we can resolve it?

Can you confirm if the user is registered on the Global server
Also, could you share the username of the person experiencing issues opening the form?

Yes..the user name is pillars_2026

What permissions did you assign to the user?

If you gave them ‘View form’ access then yes they will be able to see your form. However, unless you additionally give them ‘Add submissions’ they wont actually be able to submit anything (and will get the above error if they try to start a new submission)
