Account seems to expire - can't get access to account

I have an account [KoboToolbox]

If I don’t use it for a while I get directed to a page with a desert scene with options to Login or create a new account.

It won’t let me login so I end up making a new account each time this happens.

If I use the account regularly - like every 2nd day - I gain access to my account by just following the url shown above.

Why does this happen?

How do I solve this problem?

Regards

Mark

Hi Mark,
This sounds very odd. The ‘desert’ screen is just our login page, that’s not unexpected. I’m unclear whether you are unable to log in to your existing account or not, and what happens when you try to log in unsuccessfully (and reset your password if needed). It may be a local issue with your browser or your password manager, for example.

You can send us more details to support@kobotoolbox.org and we can try to debug this issue.

Best,

Tino
