Hello,
we have some audio files in our survey (interviews) which can be listened without problem, but I cannot open them to download nor can I activate transcription.
Can anybody help?
Welcome to the community, @andes_resilientes! Have you tried downloading your media file from under the DATA>Download>Media Attachments (ZIP)?
Dear Kal_Lam, actually we have started working with the idea to use the transcription and analyse tools embedded in Kobo. But yes we did also download. There, another problem appeared: the downloaded folders and files have very long names (as below) and except the zip-file folder I am not allowed to change the names of these files, I do not know why. neither (tried to change in properties, does not accept). These can therefore not be opened by any of my media players. Thanks for any hint!
Hi @andes_resilientes we are investigating this. Could you please confirm which server (link) do you use and approx by when did you collect those audios?
Dear Paula, thanks for catching up. We use the global server, and we did these audios between 2 and 6 march.
We are currently still testing as we plan a larger survey based on interviews and audio recording from early april onwards. Hope you find the gap!
