Background Audio Skip Logic

Hello,

I’m hoping to use background_audio so that we can record our interview without the data collector having to remember to start and stop the recording.

Since its happening in the background, is there any way to only have it activate based on skip logic? I want it to only turn on the recording when we select “yes” to a select_one question type, and if “no” is selected then the background_audio feature doesn’t turn on.

Just curious if this would work or not?

Welcome to the community, @sknudson! Yes, you could bypass the background audio recording through the skip logic by following the instructions outlined in the image below:

In the survey tab of your XLSForm:
