Best practices for using KoBoToolbox to gather user experience feedback for a streaming app

Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on improving the user experience of a streaming app, and we’re planning to use KoBoToolbox to collect structured feedback from users in the field. Our goal is to better understand issues like content discovery, playback reliability, and feature preferences — especially from users who may not have regular internet access.

I’d love to hear from this community about best practices when using KoBoToolbox for app-related feedback collection, particularly:

  • How do you design forms that are easy for users to complete on mobile devices without causing drop-offs?

  • What are effective ways to categorize and tag responses so insights can be quickly analyzed?

  • Any tips on skip logic / nested questions that help keep surveys relevant and concise?

Also interested in any lessons learned around exporting and visualizing results to share with a product team.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
