Can you please describe exactly what you are seeing when you try to modify the geoshape in Kobo.
FWIW I had a play with this myself - filling in a simple form with a geoshape, submitting it, and then trying to edit the shape in Kobo. It ‘works’, kinda, in that I can, say, pick a specific point and change its latitude or longitude value. But I do observe it behaves rather unpredictably if I try to drag point around, or click to add a new point, etc, oftentimes resulting in a cryptic error…
Whereas in other cases I can drag points around OK. I suspect some of the difference in behavior may result from whether you have selected the first or last geopoint in the geoshape. These may be obvious when are filling in the form, however there is no visual indication of these two ‘special’ points when you then go to subsequently edit it (in fact, by definition, the first and last points in a geoshape have exactly the same coordinate, so you cant visually separate them anyway!)

Ca fonctionne très bien sur le terrain les enqueteurs arrivent correctement a valider cette question et valider le formulaire d’enquete mais quand je veux modifier l’enquête depuis KOBO je n’y arrive pas car il me genere une erreur sur cette question.
Constat :
- Je ne peux pas valider et modifier les enquetes depuis KOBO
- Les polygones saisie sont correct et ok
- Quand je regarde l’enquete depuis KOBO le premier point du polygone est OK mais a partir du deuxieme point, le champX est vide est tout ces decalé c’est a dire les X en Y les Y en Z. C’est sans doute pour ca que ca me genere une erreur mais j’ai du mal a comprendre ce bug et j’aimerais surtt pouvoir effectuer les modifs depuis KOBO

Are your users submitting the data from Enketo (web) or KoboCollect?
FWIW I have not observed or been able to reproduce individual coordinates being transcribed or ‘shifted’; that seems very odd indeed. For reference, this is the simple test form I was using:

As I said above, my geoshape itself is being submitted correctly, but the behavior when subsequently trying to edit it in Kobo (via Enketo) is rather, um, quirky.
