Can't add user to form - please help :)

I am trying to add a new user to a form who has set up on the same server. Username is xxxxxxx
Please advise? I set up the forms on the humanitarian server, and her new account is on the EU server - that’s correct I think?

Hi @Gharam_medhat, kindly please be informed that KoBoToolbox has two public servers viz. the Global and the EU. Please be informed that sharing of projects is only possible within the same server, i.e. either within the Global server or within the EU server. It’s impossible to share a survey project between Global to EU or vice versa. You could also have a look at our support article MANAGING PERMISSIONS to learn more about sharing projects with other users.

Hi @Kal_Lam - thank you - I have already checked this forum post. The new user is on the same server and my user permissions should allow them to be added. I am stuck!

Hi @miles_jarvis, please note that the username you shared with me via private message is registered under the Global Server, not the EU Server. This is likely why you’re unable to share permissions with your colleagues—you may have assumed you were sharing the project from the correct server but accidentally selected the wrong one.

Also, keep in mind that project sharing is only possible between users on the same server. For example, a user on the Global Server can only share projects with other Global Server users, and the same applies to the EU Server. Cross-server sharing (e.g., Global to EU or vice versa) is not supported.
