Change the type of question

Hi,
If I wnat change the type of a quetion that currently is interger question and I want change to text type. If I use the same name and same xml code, the data that put on the old type question Will they remain? Or I will lost everything?

As confirmed by @wroos, changing the question type from one question type to another is impossible through the formbuilder. You could, however, download your form as XLSForm and then change the question type as needed. But, we always advise you to try this out on a dummy project first so that you will know hoe the da…
