Changing the value of submissions from a metadata?

Hi all,

Is it possible to change the metadata? For instances, I would like to change the username of a submission.

The values of metadata submitted to the KoBoToolbox server are not changeable through DATA>Table>Edit. However, you could edit the same by downloading the data in an xls version.

Hello @Kal_Lam,
Is it possible to use calculation for metadata? This might allow to change partly.
Are other features also possible with metadata, like constraint (e.g. for start not before survey data), relevant …?

@wroos, the calculation seems to help manipulate metadata during data entry …

… but when it comes to editing from the DATA>Table>Edit it’s still impossible to edit a metadata inputs.
