Check for duplicate IDs between repeat entries

Hello everyone!

I have a form with a repeat group (farm_repeat) and within the repeat group I’m scanning a barcode to receive a (unique) ID (sampleID). Is it possible to check, in realtime, if a given ID is already scanned during this session. I’m using KoboCollect if that makes any difference.

try this. It will work for both nested and single repeats, just ensure you put the join calculate question outside the repeat group.
