Hi,

I am trying to validate an XLSForm using the ODK XLSForm Online v2.x validator, and I keep getting the error “There has been a problem trying to replace ${q2.1} with the XPath to the survey element named ‘q2.1’. There is no survey element with this name.”. However, there is nowhere in the form where I refer to ${q2.1}. The error seems to appear when I impose a number of conditions in the choice_filter column (when I remove these conditions, the XLSForm is validated).

I have attached an extract of the survey tab from the XLSForm. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

  • Did you search the q2.1 token with the search function in Excel, please?
  • Did you check the form with the Online validator https://getodk.org/xlsform/? Probably same error message.

(The KoBo parser is not inventing textual references.)
