Creating users with permisssions

Good evening,

I would like to add 3 users to my project, so they can view and edit form submissions. I have no idea where to start. It seems, from every article that I’ve read, that the users need to already exist. How do I create them, or how do the users create accounts that can be part of my project?

If I could have a case scenario where there are no users, then how to create or add them, I would be grateful.

@mandla, please be informed that there are 2 servers hosted publicly by KoBoToolbox. For details, you could also go through our support article Which Server Should I Use. Follow the steps outlined below, once you have decided to create an account in the specific server:

  • Login to the appropriate server.
  • There you should see the following screen:

  • Instead of logging in with a Username and a Password, select create an account. You will then be requested to fill up a form to create an account as shown in the image below:

  • Fill up the form.
  • Then activate your KoBoToolbox account by pressing the activation link that was sent to your email.

This way you should be able to create as many users as required.
