I want to arrange options horizontally, with each option in its own column. Each column should support either a single choice or multiple choices. I have 7 options, and I need to adjust the layout so that all 7 columns fit in a single row, rather than wrapping to the next row after 4 columns.Another aspect is that each row should function as a single unit as I was able to select all option even though it is single option. How can I do this?
Welcome to the community, @sudeep! Our matrix question type as outlined in this support article Question Matrix Response Type should help you achieve your design.
You could also follow this Enketo blog to design your form in a grid-theme layout. This post discussed previously should also give you an idea of a workaround:
I wanna have matrix form like this. Radio, tv and news are source of media and each media will have options :
Not trustworthy at all
Neutral
A little trustworthy
Very trustworthy
A little trustworthy
Very trustworthy
and it is single option.
and need to fit all 7 column in one row.
@sudeep, if that is the case, then your columns, Very trustworthy
, A little trustworthy
, and so on should be a select_one
question type with Yes
and No
options. If this is something you are looking for, then please feel free to go though the support article attached before. You should be able to create one through the Matrix Question Type
.
No, I wanna set one row as one single option, very trustworth, a little trustworthy all are options for Radio, tv and news.
In this, I should only be able to select only one option but I can select all.
How can I resolve this issue?
and another question is this shows perfectly if there are 4 option or 4 coulmn but if I add two more, it appears in another row.
How can I make appear all column in one row?
Can’t I use % width for each column?
