I need assistance on uploaded data to the server. All the entered data shows in the data table online and also when downloaded. However, when I open the individual forms to edit, some sections do not show the entered data. I need to update some parts of entered data.
What would you advice that I do to resolve this?
Thank you very much for your suggestions @pearl44snow I have tried clearing my browser’s cookies and caches but there is no change. I made recent changes to the form but I am unable to determine whether this is the cause as they were additional options to certain questions in the form. I used the Kobotoolbox to create my form so its not a third party user software.
@ritaohenelarbi, would you mind checking if your questions has any skip logics? Generally, when there is a skip logic some questions/groups could be hidden.
Thank you. I have done a cross-check but there are no visible skip logics in the form.
Once i was a victim of this. I added some skip logic to some questions during the data collection and re-uploded the form to the server.
After upload, all the data in the server changed to obey the new skip logics, So when i download the data i found some of the obrservation were blank. I though it was our server administration guy untill i was able to identify the problem ,
I hope its a matter of Skip logics. However he can share the old version and the new version of form for more comparisions
@ritaohenelarbi, yes as advised by @pruzige you may need to download all your form versions and check if there were any skip logics in your form.
