Default language not working as it should while collecting data in Enketo

Hi Kal_Lam, first thank you for this and all the other amazing support on this forum - I’ve been lurking for a while and have now finally made an account.

Question on the solution: for me adding ?lang=… does translate the automatically generated fields on Enketo (e.g. ‘choose your language’ at the top). However it does not change the xlsform. I’ve tried disabling default language, same thing happens. Am I missing something?

Welcome to the community! Kindly please be informed that this is due to the new feature launched by Enekto which by default detects the language of your browser and changes the language of your survey project accordingly.

You could check this out at your end by changing the default language of your browser and then opening a survey project.

However, if you wish to see the default language that has been set in the xlsform, you could do it as outlined in the post discussed previously (using a small trick):
