error getting blank form

I have installed the latest koBocollect app through an apk…but when i try getting a blank form i get the following error:
Form listing failed.Error libcore.io.ErrnoException:isconnected failed:

ECONNREFUSED(connection refused) while accessing http:/127.0.0.1:8000/cms_coffee/formlist

Hi.

I’m not 100% sure about your set-up, but I presume you have set http:/127.0.0.1:8000/cms_coffee/formlist as you server in the configuration. In this case:

The IP address 127.0.0.1 always point to your local device, so in this case your phone/tablet. Your server is most likely at a different address. So when you configure your client, you need to put the regular (public) address of your server, the same one as you would use to access it with a web browser. This could be the name of the server or the IP address.

Hi Allan,
Since you are using this on a local network a likely reason for this connection error is your computer’s firewall. Try disabling it entirely for testing purposes to see if this resolves the issue. You’ll have to add an exception to your firewall settings to allow your mobile devices and other computers to access the device. However, judging from your network address this is a local IP that can likely not be used to connect other devices. You would have to set your host address to your computer’s local IP address (e.g. 192.168.x.x).
