Error : Survey Publishing Failed: Form with this id or SMS-Keyword already exists.

I am new to Kobo Toolbox, I was trying out the features provided and was successful in deploying the project through Web, entering and uploading the data from KoboCollect from my android phone. Now when I try to create even a simple form with only Name and Age field. It is continuously giving the same error.

Survey Publishing Failed: Form with this id or SMS-Keyword already exists.

I even tried to give it a random and unique name, but the problem persist.

I tried to upload the xml file of form to the project directly, still not working. although itworked fine on KoboCollect when directly copied to the odk/forms folder in Android.

I am using Chrome on Windows 7 even tried it with Firefox with no luck.

Screenshot is attached,

Any help is appreciated

.

Hi Ranjeet,
This is an error that has been experienced and which we will work to prevent. I’ll email you off the list for specific details about your form so that we can reproduce the error. But in the meantime, exporting to XLS and importing directly into the Kobocat end is a good workaround --as you have figured out.
