Hi,
I am a new user and am having some trouble accessing a form that has been created by a colleague. I have been added as a team member for the project with permissions to edit, view and submit. The project has been deployed and I can access the form through the browser to add data, however, I am unable to get the form on the android app - which says nothing available to display when I select get blank form.
Has anyone come across such a scenario previously?
Any help regarding how to access the form on the app would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Tamara
Hi Tamara,
Did you follow the steps in this post to make sure your app is set to your account URL?
Did you already deploy your form draft? You’ll only see your forms in KoBoCollect once you’ve deployed them as a new data collection project. For help with this step see this post.
Best,
Tino

Hi Tino,
I’m the one who has deployed the form draft and added permissions for Tamara. However, it seems that we are only able to access the forms that we ourselves deployed - not deployed forms that have been shared with us. With regards to the account URL, we had assumed that it was the URL associated with our account but is it actually supposed to be the URL of the account of whoever deployed the form?

Update on that - it is actually supposed to be the URL of whoever deployed the form! It might be helpful to clarify that in your article

Hi Moya,
In the case of using multiple users in the same project you should do the following:
-
In General Settings, enter the URL without the username into Collect, i.e. https://kc.kobotoolbox.org
-
Enter the username and password of the person entering the data into the Username and Password fields in General Settings (that is the person whom you had granted access - not the user who created the project)
-
Now go to Get blank forms; you’ll only see the forms that this secondary user has been given access to.
We’ll update the instructions to include this use case, thanks for pointing it out.
Best,
Tino
